Dakhla Morocco, Western Sahara
Daskhla is a Moroccan city in the Western Sahara. It is the capital of the Moroccan administrative region Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab. It has a population of 106,277 and is built on a narrow peninsula of the Atlantic Coast about 550 km south of Laayoune.
Dakhla is considered the paradise of the South. It is one of the best places in the Southern Morocco. It is a Peninsula which comprises two coasts. Each one of them has several spots for all the needs of a rider. The bank side contain some long sandy beaches with quite shallow water along both sides of the lagoon. The perfect place for people who want to learn windsurfing, kitesurfing, or who are addicted to go fishing. It is a so calm lagoon with golden sand and people who seek calmness. The other coast facing the Atlantic, contains many other spots for all kind of riders and all the other kinds of water sports.
The beginning of the Peninsula there is a spot named “point de l’Or”. It is a long sandy beach with good protection from the wind. It is the best place where beginners can start to learn how to surf.
